Laura Bielinski is a corporate and technology counsel with nine years of experience advising venture-backed startups and Fortune 500 companies on capital raising, M&A, and product regulation. She began her career at Kirkland & Ellis, where she led debt and equity financings in excess of $5 billion for private-equity clients such as Blackstone, KKR, Apollo, and Carlyle.
At Apple, Laura supported global hardware and services launches, optimized contract workflows for more than 10 000 customers, and prepared board-level governance materials. Today she serves as Lead Commercial Counsel at Scale AI, managing hundreds of millions of dollars in GenAI agreements with the Big Five AI companies and steering legal strategy for Scale’s frontier-robotics spin-up. She partners closely with engineering and finance teams to translate evolving regulations— including the EU AI Act—into practical data-governance and risk-management frameworks.
Laura holds a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, a B.A. in Physics and History from Rice University, and is admitted in California (In-House Counsel) and Texas. Outside of work she mentors early-stage founders on AI compliance and enjoys triathlon training along the California coast.
